keeping the old car

on the way home from work today i saw a girl stuck at a red light. after she told me she didn't need a jump, i was sure there was nothing i could do for her. but between her crying fits she was cussing at everything on wheels that went by her, so i pulled over, figurring i could at least help keep her calm. i am a psyc grad right? one car she yelled at hit the brakes, got out and looked ready to throw down. im pretty sure this white girl standing outside her car got her out of that one. your welcome.

anyway, what i realized during this little half hour adventure was that the only people who stopped to help, or at least rolled down there window to ask about it, were people also in old cars.

people who drive old cars are nice.
i drive an old car.
so i am nice.
if i get a newer car, i will be less nice.

lesson learned.
